Symbols

Some of the best known symbols of England are:

Big Ben is located in the building of the British Parliament and became its own right, an icon of London. It is called Big Ben and is one of the most impressive to measure time in the world.

For over 50 years, the Routemaster bus was practically the only means of transport in the city and symbol of the capital. In early 2006, the red double-decker bus was in the top ranks of the most famous symbols of the nation.

Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in England and more importantly there is nothing like it around the world. This altar of stones has been used for 5000 years and still not entirely sure what was its purpose.
